Dear Robyn,
Just gathering information can be extremely difficult (for a lot of older people) and is dependent on seeking answers from people with the appropriate attitude working in the service industry. Sometimes the response is dismissive, sometimes platitudinous & condescending. Then, occasionally there, in all her qualities, is a Robyn……………..Not only are you solving my original problem… but you are proof positive that it is possible to overtake a creed of communication via a path of logic, skill, reliability and human understanding. So, you see, my gratitude is countless, not just for response to that one short phone call but for your advocacy to the manager on my behalf. Obviously, thanks should be extended to that man as well.
You may have days when you feel unappreciated (in any aspect of your life) then remember this letter which is wholeheartedly felt and sent with my best wishes.
